Are you interested in helping bring citizen journalism to Interior Alaska?
FOR has developed a short class to help you get acquainted with the new website. We'll show you how to publish articles on the FOR site as well as how to post pictures, music, podcasts, and video clips. We'll also talk about how citizen journalism can be used to create a robust and successful community radio station!
Saturday's class will be held at the Fairbanks Professional Center. Space is limited, so please sign up as soon as you can. If the class fills up, we'll schedule a second one in order to accommodate everybody.
We're gearing up for October's filing window. Now is the perfect time to get involved in this very important project.

Get used to using the “sneeze” button. And that 5-7 second delay is very improtant. You might also want to check out - - web casting (no, not for fish). Skipe is a world wide, FOR FREE, phone service where you can talk to Spain, and take calls from soldiers in Iraq, Afganistan - - or the other “7 ‘-stans” (Ouzbectistan, Cajickastan, Turkmenistan, Peace-a-stan, Feed-my-goat-as-stan, and those other ones.) .
